Fiberglass Pools

Fiberglass Pool Options

Fiberglass shells are predesigned and cannot be customized; however, with more than 30 shell options to choose from and the possibility to add spas and sundecks to the exterior of the pool, you can still find exactly what you’re looking for!

Gel-Coat Finishes

Give your pool water the perfect look for your backyard with one of Latham’s custom gel-coat finishes.

Why Fiberglass?

Here are a few good reasons why you should consider a fiberglass pool:

  • With 30+ pool shells, spas, and sunshelves to choose from, its easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.
  • Fiberglass pools are set in place as a single unit, so the speed of installation tends to be somewhat faster than that of vinyl-liner pools and significantly faster than that of concrete pools.
  • Latham fiberglass pools, spas, and sunshelves come with lifetime warranties and are engineered to be fade, stain, and scratch resistant.
  • The gel-coating on Latham fiberglass shells have anti-microbial properties that deter algae growth and help keep your pool water clear.
  • Unlike concrete pools, fiberglass shells are chemically inert and nonporous, meaning you’ll spend less time and money to clean and maintain your pool. Additionally, this means fiberglass pairs well with salt water systems that are otherwise hard on concrete and steel surfaces.
  • With no liner or gaskets to replace and no concrete to plaster or paint, fiberglass shells also offer a much lower cost in terms of long-term maintenance.

Fiberglass Considerations

A few things to consider before buying a fiberglass pool:

  • The initial cost to install a fiberglass pool tends to be slightly more than that of a vinyl liner pool.
  • Fiberglass shells are shipped and installed as a single unit and are therefore restricted in size (max width of 16′, max length of 40′, and max depth of 8’6″). Likewise, the shell dimensions and interior pool features such as benching, steps, and sunshelfs are all predesigned and cannot be customized.
